Volterra, a city founded by the Etruscans (a population present in Italy before the Romans).You will enjoy the beautiful landscapes and have a walk in the town center with its amazing Piazza del Popolo(medieval square)and the Etruscan ruins.The magic in Volterra is the possibility to see and understand three of the most important periods of the italian history(Etruscan,Roman and Medieval).The roman “era” is still alive thanks to the roman anfitheatre very well preserved.
